🏅Final Result

The first-ever Adidas Collegiate World Championships lived up to the hype. With India and Chinese Taipei sending their collegiate all-star teams to compete in the U.S., the event showcased true international representation beyond American colleges.

India (Anuja Maheshwari, Mayur Patil, Vanshik Kapadia, Vrushali Thakare) and Utah Tech (Clayton Boydston, Ella Boydston, Liam Duffin, Mary Monson) entered the tournament as the top-ranked teams based on DUPR ratings — and as predicted, both powered through the bracket with relative ease.

💡Fun Fact: Rumor had it that Team India didn’t even tie their shoes until the finals. Whether true or not, they certainly played like it — dominating every match, only dropping one game on their way there.

The finals tested both squads. Utah Tech displayed dominance in Women’s Doubles, dictating play from start to finish, while India took firm control in Men’s Doubles. That left the championship to be decided in Mixed Doubles, where Utah Tech pulled away to win both matches — no DreamBreaker required.
